How to connect Housecall Pro

Confirm the customer is on Housecall Pro's MAX plan — API access and webhooks are both gated to MAX.

Sign in to Housecall Pro as an Admin, open App Store → API card → View Details, and generate a personal API key. (For multi-tenant marketplace usage we can also use OAuth.)

Open Workflows → Integrations → Housecall Pro in the dashboard and paste the API key.

Pick the default service category and job type for new chat-sourced work.

Configure Webhook Subscriptions for the events you want to drive AI follow-ups: job.created, job.updated, job.completed, customer.created, customer.updated, estimate.created, estimate.updated, plus payment events. HCP gives you a signing secret per endpoint.

Run a test conversation and confirm a Customer + Estimate appears in HCP with the conversation summary.
Good to know
- Housecall Pro API access and webhooks both require the MAX plan. Customers on Basic, Essentials, or Plus tiers cannot use this integration — they'd need to upgrade.
