The short version: you are only ever charged for the two results defined above, and every charge ties back to a conversation you can read.
What counts as a lead with commercial intent?
Two things have to be true at once. The visitor must share valid contact information, and they must clearly express commercial intent in what they say about a product or service from your business, like asking for a quote, an estimate, or availability. General questions, support requests, job seekers, vendors, and spam do not count, no matter how long the conversation runs.
What is a qualified appointment?
An appointment Sarah books in your connected calendar with a lead who meets the qualification criteria you set, such as service area, job type, or budget. You define those criteria when you set Sarah up, so an appointment only counts as qualified by your own rules.
Is there a monthly minimum or subscription fee?
No. Self-serve is $0 per month with no setup fee and no minimum. A month where Sarah produces no charged results costs you nothing, however many conversations she handled.
Do unanswered chats or long conversations cost anything?
No. Conversations are unlimited and free regardless of how many there are or how long they run. The only billable events are a lead with commercial intent and a qualified appointment.
What if a charged lead turns out to be spam or bogus?
It should not be charged in the first place: a billable lead requires valid contact information plus clear commercial intent, which screens out spam, vendors, and pranks. If something slips through, contact us with the conversation and we will review it against those criteria.
Can I cap or control my monthly spend?
Your bill only scales with real results, and you control the qualification criteria that define a billable appointment. You can tighten those rules or pause Sarah at any time. If you want a hard monthly cap on your account, contact us and we will work out the right setup before you go live.
How do I dispute a charge?
Every charge maps to a specific conversation, and you keep a clear record of each charged outcome. Read the transcript, and if you believe the lead did not share valid contact information or did not express commercial intent, contact support and we will review it against the same definitions published on this page.
When do you charge my card?
Installing, training, and testing Sarah requires no card at all. When you go live, you add a payment method, and charged results are billed to it automatically with an itemized record showing each charged lead and appointment.
