Integrations

Connect any tool: call any API from a workflow, let any webhook send data in, or use Zapier. Plus Google Calendar, Outlook, WordPress and Google Analytics.

Connect any tool

Small Business Chatbot connects to any tool in three ways.

So HubSpot, Salesforce, Jobber, ServiceTitan or your own system all connect the same way. Data goes out through an HTTP Request step or a Zap, and comes in through an inbound webhook. The Other tools table shows what each one supports.

Your keys stay safe

  • Saved once, encrypted: an API key, token or password goes in a workflow credential. It's stored encrypted in AWS Secrets Manager, apart from your workflows, and added to a request only when the step runs.
  • Never shown again: after you save it, the app never displays the secret, and run history masks it.
  • Yours only: a credential belongs to your account. Only your workflows can use it.
  • Public addresses only: the HTTP Request step refuses private and internal network addresses.
  • No keys to copy for sign-in tools: Zapier, Google Calendar and Outlook connect by signing in and clicking Allow.
  • A private URL per webhook: each inbound webhook has its own random URL. Regenerate URL replaces it, and the old one stops working.

The tools below also connect from their own panels in the app.

Your website

Tool What it does Sign-in
Any website One line of code puts the chat widget on every page that has it None
WordPress The plugin connects the site to your account and loads the widget, with no code Your account, opened from the plugin

Calendars

Tool What it does Sign-in
Google Calendar The AI chatbot books, reschedules and cancels in website chat, and your booking page takes bookings, all in your Google Calendar Your Google account
Microsoft Outlook calendar The same booking in chat and on your booking page, in your Outlook calendar Your Microsoft account
Google Meet Adds a new Google Meet link to each meeting booked into Google Calendar Comes with Google Calendar
Microsoft Teams Adds a new Microsoft Teams link to each meeting booked into Outlook Comes with Outlook

Analytics

Tool What it does Sign-in
Google Analytics Sends chat, call, text, lead and appointment events to your GA4 property None for website events; a Measurement ID and an API secret for the rest

Automation

Tool What it does Sign-in
HTTP request A workflow step sends details to any public API, or fetches data from it A saved Bearer, Header or Basic credential, or none
Inbound webhooks Any tool posts to a URL, and its data comes in and starts a workflow None: the URL is the secret
Zapier A chat, call or text ending, a new contact or an appointment starts a Zap Sign in from Zapier and click Allow

Email

Tool What it does Sign-in
Sending domain Workflow emails go out from your domain, and replies come back to the app DNS records at your domain provider

Other tools

HubSpot, Salesforce, Jobber, ServiceTitan and the other tools below connect through the three routes above:

  • Out, by API: a workflow's HTTP request step calls the tool's API. The last column says how it signs in.
  • In, by webhook: when the tool can send a webhook, its data comes into Small Business Chatbot through an inbound webhook and starts a workflow.
  • Out, by Zapier: a chat, call, text, new contact or appointment starts a Zap, and the Zap uses the tool's own Zapier app, for example HubSpot's Create or Update Contact.
