What this does

When the AI receptionist books an estimate or a visit, or finishes a call, a Zap finds or creates the client in Jobber and adds a request with the address, the time and what the customer asked for. Your team quotes and schedules it from Jobber as usual.

Before you start

  • The Small Business Chatbot app connected in Zapier: Zapier.
  • A Jobber account on a plan that includes Jobber's Zapier integration. Jobber lists it on its Connect and Grow plans.

Build the Zap

  1. Pick the trigger

In Zapier, create a Zap with the Small Business Chatbot app and Appointment Booked to send each booked visit. Use Call Ended (what a call carries) or Chat Ended to send every new caller, booked or not.

  2. Find or create the client

Add Jobber's Find or Create Client action. Map the invitee's name, phone and email from the booking, or First name, Phone and Email from a call.

  3. Create the request

Add Jobber's Create Request action for that client. Put the appointment's start time and location in the request, and Action items in its details when the trigger is a call or a chat.

  4. Turn the Zap on

Test each step in Zapier, then turn the Zap on.

What each trigger carries is under Payload sample. An appointment event carries the title, start and end times, time zone, the invitee's name, email and phone, and the location (Appointment events).

Other Jobber actions

Jobber's Zapier app also has Create Client, Create Job, Create Quote, Add Note to Request, Add Tags to Client and Find Client. Add Note to Request is a good place for the call transcript.
